His wide-spanned career includes performing, composing and arranging jazz, classical and contemporary music. For many years he held the role of Musical Director for the National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company and has played in many major venues. Frank Sebastian is an in demand accomplished saxophonist with a remarkable beautiful tone who has composed a huge catalogue of original tunes.

Dan Banks is a gifted piano player and composer who has released several albums under his name during which he collaborated with Paul Higgs https://danbanks.co.uk/. He holds a PhD in music and co-leads the Kent Youth Jazz Orchestra.

Simon Wood is a versatile hard swinging double bassist who plays in a variety of jazz bands as well as classical orchestras.

Elmer van der Hoek is a local jazz drummer who has been organising monthly jazz gigs and jams in Colchester for the last 15 years.
